This event can complement any training program whereby the concepts learned in the training are layered into a team building event in an interactive, hands-on and memorable format.

What is Domino Effect?

A highly collaborative team building and business exercise that gets teams working towards one common goal. The Objective: Create an innovative and inspiring machine that will complete a simple task in a gloriously intricate and elegant fashion. It is a complicated process that is artful, creative and fun with the objective of completing a very basic task – like revealing a banner, flipping a switch or setting off a mouse trap. Each team will be given a budget to creatively acquire their building materials including hundreds of household and office items.

How the Domino Effect Challenge works:

Each team will go through several phases in this program.

1. Planning Phase to discuss the machine’s intention and building design.
2. Challenges and Budgeting for acquiring the necessary supplies and materials
3. Progress Reports outlining the team theme and strengths.
4. Facilitator Curveballs are built into the program to test the teams communication and collaboration talents including shifting timelines, changes in human capital, mandatory machine components etc.
